Deeds Child Safety Standards
Last Updated: 1 December 2025
Deeds, operated by True North Corporations Pty Ltd (“Deeds”, “we”, “us”, “our”), is committed to providing a safe environment for all users, especially children and young people. This page explains our standards for preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and how we respond to potential harm on the platform.
1. Zero‑Tolerance Policy
We strictly prohibit any content or behaviour involving:
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation in any form
- Sexualisation of minors
- Grooming, predatory or manipulative behaviour towards minors
- Sharing, creating, or distributing harmful content involving minors
- Requests for sexual images, sexual conversations, or in‑person meetings with minors
Any account found to be involved in such behaviour may be immediately suspended or permanently banned and may be reported to relevant law‑enforcement or child protection agencies as required by law.
2. Platform Design & Safety Features
We design Deeds with safety in mind, including:
- Community guidelines that clearly forbid harmful or exploitative content
- Limits on what can be shared, posted, or messaged within the app
- Rate‑limiting or blocking features to reduce spam and harassment
- Technical protections to detect suspicious activity patterns where appropriate
3. Content Moderation & Enforcement
We use a combination of tools and processes to help keep the community safe:
- Review of user reports and flagged content
- Manual moderation for sensitive or escalated cases
- Removal of content that violates our child safety standards
- Account warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent bans where appropriate
In cases involving a risk to a child, we prioritise speed, remove content where possible, and may preserve information required to support investigations by authorities.
4. Age Requirements
Deeds is intended for users who meet the minimum legal age for using mobile applications in their country or as required by applicable app store policies.
We do not knowingly allow individuals who are under the legal minimum age to create an account. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under the required age, we may delete or restrict the account and remove associated content.
5. Reporting Concerning Behaviour
If you see something that may put a child at risk, you should report it immediately.
You can report by:
- Using the in‑app reporting tools (where available)
- Emailing our safety team at support@deedsmovement.com
- Using any dedicated web contact form we provide for safety issues
When you report, please include as much detail as you can safely provide (usernames, screenshots, links, timestamps). Reports involving potential harm to a child are treated as urgent and reviewed as quickly as possible.
6. Cooperation with Authorities & Child Protection Organisations
Where required by law or where we believe a child may be at risk, we may cooperate with:
- Law‑enforcement agencies
- Child protection organisations
- Other relevant regulatory bodies
This may include preserving or sharing information in line with legal obligations and our Privacy Policy.
7. Education & Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and improve our safety measures to align with evolving best practices and industry standards for online child protection. This may include updating our policies, improving our reporting tools, or enhancing moderation and detection systems over time.
